Hiatus Over!
Alrighty, I guess I'm back in business now. I couldn't really post on this website because it didn't really work well on Safari, but I downloaded Firefox and I think I'll just do daily summaries until I figure out the true purpose of this personal blog for myself.
Right now, the main thing that I've been focusing on is studying for my CA Broker's exam and losing 20 pounds. I've also uploaded dating profiles on POF, Tinder and OKCupid. I think that I'm really doing all of these things to keep my mind off of other more important things that I don't have the emotional fortitude to write about publicly or privately. #sigh
I have a dating story. There should be another name for first time internet meetings. They shouldn't be called "dates". I don't want to call it a meeting because meeting has a completely different connotation. I'm going to call first time internet dates . . . FOMs for First Offline Meeting! :)
So, I had a FOM. I was supposed to meet this guy at a Starbucks that he chose at 8:30pm. I got there at 8:20pm, which is crazy for me because being on time is not my strong point. Anyway, dude shows up 45 minutes late. #sigh I'm getting annoyed as I write, so I'm going to stop right now. He wasn't a bad guy. We talked for a while. He seemed "okay" enough, but he was the epitome of the picture that I added to the blog.
Soooo, I have faith in God and I have faith in Prayer. I've got to write a blog about my perception of God one day, then pray that none of my hypocritical Christian friends finds it.
Anyway, at my church three Sundays ago my pastor pointed out jokingly that he kept searching for the scripture in the Bible where Jesus says, "I'm going to pray and then hope for the best". Lolol! I thought it was so funny. Then, I realize that I do that so much when it comes to dating and relationships. I decided to be way more positive when it comes to dating and not to say I don't have time for it. So, this guy started my journey, but I gotta kick him off the path. lol!
Yeah, I'm going to have to do better at having a point with these things. Yep. Gotta work on that.
